William S. Burroughs: Modeling and texturing

For fun I wanted to do a realistic sculpt in ZBrush as an example for when I was teaching ZBrush to multiple studios at Sony. I made a basic human head (all quads), then sculpted the face. All of the texturing was done in ZBrush with projections and whatnot, no photogrammetry or anything like that, all old school techniques. The final 3D print was made much later by the University of California San Diego Library for an Exhibition they were having. They printed one for the show, and sent me one also.

Originally started the sculpt in Mudbox, but quickly moved over to ZBrush for the face and texturing, I never moved the clothing over or finished sculpting it.
